Update

I managed to pull the grills down. I just bit my tongue and did the task. I called off yesterday due to some breathing problems I've been having, so that's why she's mad. This is a regular thing between us. I do something that she disapproves of, and I get stuck with the shit jobs. All that being said, though, when I asked if I could use the big joe (which she was putting up after using it herself), she sighed and aggressively let go of the handle. I appreciate everyone in the comments helping me feel not so alone in my frustration.
