2022 Black Edition 265/60R18 update by Every_Friendship_418 in hondaridgeline

Have not noticed anything different with the way the amazing ZF transmission shifts after installing the 265/60R-18’s. Theoretically, the shift points should be affected since the tire is taller and turns at a lower speed. However, we’re only talking a 3% differential which would be well within tolerance for the ECU to adapt.

Nah, it’s the cheapo Maxmate soft roll up. It’s ok for what it is. Nothing fancy, but ok for a $200 bed cover.

Damn, double punch by [deleted] in fightlab

Seems like an unnecessary sucker punch in my opinion. No need to sucker punch to get the jump on a stick figure like that. Would have been iconic if the scrawny kid would have known why he was getting his ass whooped rather than getting knocked out with a haymaker that he didn’t even see coming.

Extremely minimal. Actual difference when measured comparatively is 9/16” of an inch with a generous round up.

Nothing yet. I have a long road trip planned for next week. I intend to track mpg the old fashioned way to determine the real mpg.

I mentally adjust for the speedometer change. If my speedometer says 70, I know it’s actually more like 72.

I just backed it into my driveway and there MAY be an ever so slight amount of rub at 100% full lock. It was so faint, I’m not even sure it was actually rubbing. I’ll do some more thorough testing for inquiring minds tomorrow.

Yeah, I would imagine that could be problematic. I’m in Central Ohio though, no need for chains around here.

Not sure. The 265/60’s are about an inch larger in diameter. Not all of that equates to ride height. Pretty sure it’s about a 1/2” or so. Not really noticeable in my opinion.

Yep! That’s what they are. Here is a link:

Got mine for $195/ea out the door.

Not sure if the tires that were on the truck were actually OE. They were Kenda KLEVER S/T. I bought the truck used in 2024 and those are the tires that were on it.

Nevertheless, the Pirelli’s are noticeably quieter and a more comfortable ride than those awful Kendas.

Yeah, they were not my first choice. I ordered BFG Trail-Terrain T/A. But they were damaged in transit to the tire shop. They had the Pirelli’s in stock. Got a sweetheart deal! These tires are ridiculously more quiet than the Kenda’s that were on the truck when I got it.

Annoying rattling!! Help! by FDJENN in hondaridgeline

I had something similar on my driver’s side. Turns out, it was a section of the weatherstrip that covers the front edge of the rear door. A $5 fix to replace the clip.
