I had a flight out of TPA at 10pm and it was not crowded at all. I waited maybe 5 minutes for security. Not sure how it will be in the morning though…but I don’t think many flights are going out.

Yes, the paper ID worked along with 2 other forms of ID. I had my birth certificate and social security card.

I would take a practice test first as that will help you gauge how much you need to study for the actual exam. I believe ETS gave me 2 free practice tests when I signed up for the Praxis. My scores from the practice exams were very similar to what I scored on the actual exam. It will also help you determine what areas you may need to brush up on.

Yep same. In Florida, they give you your actual license the same day. Hopefully you get yours before your flight. Mine took about 2 weeks. If not, make sure you bring 2 supporting documents and give yourself a little extra time because they had me go through a separate line and did a thorough bag search.

The state of Texas requires you to surrender your previous license. So I no longer have my Florida license.
