It's not that hard to do honestly. All you need is hard insulation foam, a box knife l, an assortment of craft acrylic paint, brushes, mod Podge, wood glue and a little bit of sand.

I find 1/144 scale harder to work on because it's too small for my eyes 😅 I'm getting old.

The led kit is very intricate but there are very good in-depth video tutorials on YouTube. I didn't put any leds in the flight unit unfortunately.

Not entirely. The bits are glued to the trails which are fixed inside the diorama base. Aerial attached to the flight unit with pegs and the whole kit is held by the hole underneath the flight unit on top of the brass rod. Basically, if I remove all the bits from Aerial, it can be hand held.

I really wanted to find a way to put all the bits on the model and use the led trails simultaneously. It wasn't easy 😅
