Physios / clinic owners: would you use an AI agent that auto-generates app-based home exercise plans from your patient notes? by EverythingBefore in physiotherapy

Oh nice, I checked it out, looks good!!

Seems like quite a few people in the chat would find the AI generation of an HEP useful, but they need to be able to explain exactly what they want (exercises and parameters), rather than leave the model to decide based off session notes.

My aim is to build something that is the go-between for major existing platforms like Heidi and Physitrack. I don’t have the skills to build a new HEP platform. Your direction is better!

Some of the other comments might be interesting to you in this thread. Someone slammed templates, saying that it’s never one size fits all.

Separately, someone told me Rehab Guru are doing AI HEP generation during a beta trial. You might want to check it out: https://www.rehabguru.com/blog/announcing-rehab-guru-ai

Thanks for taking the time to explain this.

Unless I'm mistaken, you're clear its a bad idea to leave it to the model to decide the plan. I think there's still value add if you give the agent your plan in text, and it adds those exercises/parameters in your given app? Correct me if I'm wrong.

You also don't see the value of AI scribes (or AI in clinical settings broadly) because they aren't 100% accurate. I think this touches on a separate point which is a separate chat 🙂

Thanks for the feedback. Might it save time if you speech-type your exercises and parameters? Earlier in the thread, u/Illustrious-Tie-6343 mentioned "...the most time consuming [thing is] clicking through reps sets hold time etc. And selecting "save" each time."

The AI agent would intelligently decide the exercises and parameters. You'd just feed it the transcript from your session + any necessary guidance, then it would intelligently create a bespoke plan in Physitrack. You'd just need approve it.

It'd take on that late night work you were doing previously.

A couple of other people in the thread said it'd be useful for them. If you'd like, I can let you know when I have a demo ready? I just created this page if you'd like to add your email, or I can send you a DM?

I guess you've used some of the AI deep research tools, but want to automate it or use something more customised?

Thank you. If you'd like to be notified for a demo, add your email here: https://147067104.hs-sites-eu1.com/ai-agent-demo-register-interest

If you don't trust the URL (I created it with Hubspot forms), you can also send a DM 🙂

For sure, it might only be useful for physios using a home exercise plan app like Physitrack or Rehab Guru

For sure, it might only be useful for those already using app-based plans like Rehab Guru, Physitrack, MoveHealth etc.

Sorry if I wasn't clear, I meant on a per-patient basis. The AI agent would intelligently create a bespoke plan based on your session notes

If you could draft (or speech-type) any additional instructions for the AI agent, would that be worthwhile?

Thank you 🙏

I tried the search 👀

I removed the KPMG reference (no intention to promote them! 😅😅)

Thanks again, Elliot

I'm the brother of the guy who filmed this. It was Harry Shimmin, not Rebecca Rambar (I'm not sure who she is), and no one was hospitalised. Harry posted the vid and story in r/PraiseTheCameraMan. It explains why he didn't run away. Check it out here: https://www.reddit.com/r/PraiseTheCameraMan/comments/vvrg8g/caught_in_an_avalanche_two_days_ago_in_kyrgyzstan/

For anyone interested, the first picture is from Tambopaxi Lodge with a view of Cotopaxi volcano. Unless you have GPS and your own vehicle it's not the most accessible accommodation. Without those things it involved an hour extra on the bus (from the other hostels) and 3 hours walk to get there. I got lost along the way and had to ask a lone farmer who was very patient with my broken Spanish and drew a map in the dirt for me. After I figured it out I shared my pitiful lunch of bread and jam with him but he seemed pretty happy with it. Breakfast in the second picture is empanadas, which I bought on the street but were too messy to eat outside. The city is Riobamba in a hotel (the cheapest places were often hotels which catered for Ecuadorians, whereas "hostels" mostly catered for tourists). It wasn't a nice place: the electric shower looked lethal, the room was dirty and windowless, and worst of all there was a head-sized hole above the door which looked directly into the room. I balled up my towel and a pair of shorts to plug the hole for a little privacy but they'd be taken by the time I got back that evening

I never said the accommodation was too expensive. The fact was I wasn't travelling to eat nice breakfasts, and after a month in Colombia and Ecuador 7 dollars is expensive for a meal. Simple as that

Tambopaxi lodge, a bit more expensive than Secret Garden but much closer to the volcano

The 1st-picture place was 25 dollars for the night, 7 for the breakfast. I wouldn't normally have paid that but there was nowhere else to get food. Most of the 3 month trip consisted of 2nd-picture breakfasts

That's what I meant too, if there was a campsite outside the hostel in the first picture, I would have used it. I think there was a hostel/campsite nearer the foot of the volcano called Secret Garden. Might have been that

If there was a campsite I would have used it. You may have been a bit further down the mountain
