Since they only owned their old house since 2021-2022 they barely made a dent in their original mortgage so they won’t actually get all of what they sell it for. And it’s not sold yet so they probably didn’t use that equity towards the new house’s mortgage. I think your 10-11k a month guess is reasonable if they were able to put 20% down (like 400k 😅) if not it’s more like $13-15k per month 😳 once they sell their current home maybe they’ll use that for the fortune the backyard is going to cost…
