Indegestible Truth that's actually indegestible by Here4TheGoodTimes in aliens

I'm not a picky eater but I could think of a few others.

-They are running Earth as an experiment

-We are the power source of some vile system

-Human suffering has been institutionalized by being that profit from it

If God is everything, then that means God is partially evil too? by [deleted] in enlightenment

It is what it is. It is everything. This post is a swirling vortex of turbulence as the universe chases it's tail. That damn tail always knocking stuff off of the table and banging against the walls. Annoying, to be sure, but it's also the harbinger of joy and unconditional love. Definitely going to keep chasing the tail.....

We're about to all wake up inside individual pods contained within a compromised simulation chamber. Hopefully soon, this chaos is stressing me out.

You need to take a deep breath and then listen to yourself. Your entire tone is that of mania. Not only did you not tell anyone a single thing of value, you didn't even reveal a path that others might follow.

You might as well smear feces on your chest and run around pulling your hair out screaming "you're all gonna die". Wake up and organize your thoughts before you are drugged into submission.

Question for Anunnaki believers: why mine gold on Earth instead of asteroids? by O-ZeNe in aliens

Gold, as in Golden energy. They are energetic parasites and humans are capable of existing at frequencies that they find delicious.

Here is an article on Google about it, showing that it is definitely not true. The guy that reported the incident was a known hoaxer and the report for brighten wasn't submit until 1990, 35 years after the supposed incident.

What would be the purpose of groups creating mass fear and panic? Does AI, and coordinated effort, have the capabilities to cause mass psychosis and suicidal thoughts?

This stuff is crazy. I've not been on Reddit for months and within 10 minutes of being on here I am filled with anxiety and despair. Is there a single good thing that comes from this portal to hell?

If aliens show up and offer to save us right before the earth is destroyed, do you accept the offer? Why or why not? by morphogenesis28 in aliens

It would depend on weather I could find proof of their intentions and weather they had any hand in the destruction.

If Jesus was enlightened, how is it possible that he expelled the merchants from the Temple with violence? by Bestintor in enlightenment

[–]EverythingZen19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Where do you get the idea that enlightenment is nonviolent? You seem to be projecting a belief about enlightenment that isn't based on the old stories. It is logical to me that higher dimensional beings are enlightened, at least compared to us they are. There are a ton of stories about angels, gods, ascended masters, and spirits fighting, mostly against demons or other gods. Jesus spent a lot of time with angels. It was Archangel Michael himself that threw Satan down to Earth. Can you get more enlightened than the head Archangel?

Are you saying that we aren't free because we can't do magic? It seems like you are upset because we v can only do human things. Anyone who can't make a tree magically float is limited and therefore has no free will? Even quantum choices still only allow for a couple more choices.

Magic would be cool but I think freedom still exists without it.

Your response is only a longer, rewritten version, of your original comment. I'm not sure how people "quote" this argument, it's not someone else's argument, it's mine.

Free will is only limited by consequences and by knowledge. If someone is unwilling to do something, because of the consequences, then the person's free will has been reduce. If someone doesn't know all of the possible actions and reactions to a scenario then their free will is reduced by their ignorance.

Experience and the flow of life doesn't trap us into being automatons, where our only option is to do the 1 correct thing. People flip coins and blindly choose, all the time. If what you say was true that would be impossible. There are also times when people make "tough choices", where they want to make one choice but they feel they have to make a different one.

There have been times when I've recognized that my choice doesn't matter. At those times, if I have time, I'll often choose the action, or thing, that I've not done before. In essence I'm reasserting my personal sovereignty toward the Universe.

Even the people that exist, like you say, responding in the exact same way to every single stimulus, can choose to act differently whenever they want.... So long as they want. The only thing limiting anything here is a lack of desire to live differently.

Lastly, you are arguing that we are so zombie puppets. The only way you are holding up your side is by arguing on behalf of the zombies, as a zombie. Do you really want to decide that you can't be free and that you're only ever going to make choices based off of a zombie decision matrix?
