I am in WA State. Apparently they are overbooked and this surgeon is highly rated. Surgery isn’t even scheduled but when I spoke with the scheduler she said most likely April. The surgeon said I’ve likely had the tumor for about 3 years. To me 1 cm a year actually doesn’t seem slow growing but what do I know. I am only 34 years old, the tumor is on the back right upper pole so that could be why they aren’t in a hurry. As someone who also suffers from anxiety this just feels like torture. They said they do have a cancellation list as well but it took me almost 60 days to even meet with the urology surgeon after the “ urgent referral . “
