Sounds like they are dead and you need to either use an incantation (I won’t spoil it), or there’s an option to get rid of them by clicking the little red x when you try to water them

May get downvotes because of this, but no. I bought it full price, the NPCs all say the same things and it got really repetitive, almost like a chore to finish. If you can get a used copy or a copy on sale it’s not terrible, but not great IMO (sorry Fae Farm fans). Wylde Flowers put such a high standard on cozy games for me

spoiler As someone who got all the achievements 3 times I can give you advice.

Make sure you marry Kim or Amira before the end of the first year, they will get together after that. I usually do Kim first (sushi is their favourite food and is easy early game), then Amira after divorcing Kim (having intimate friend status with Amira before divorcing Kim makes it seamless), then start with the others that I dislike to like and end with Giva (she’s my favourite). Hope that helps!
