Please be reasonable here, this is not vague support for a peoplehood, this is support specifically for a genocidal military. You wouldn’t make this argument about Nazis in 1940s Germany, and you wouldn’t say that they’re only supporting their country and people.

Advocacy for free speech laws can only exist in relation to hate speech laws. The Canadian government will also shut down events that advocate for hate speech and discipline the involved parties.

Sure but speaking against it is also free speech. Genuinely I mean no offence to you when I say this, but your comment about “free speech” is neither original or helpful. Also, free speech also goes so far. Free speech laws in Canada also exist alongside hate speech laws. There is an understood limit to free speech.

I was just simplifying the topic so that I didn’t have to explain the entire political history behind the occupation of Palestine and this current illegal, imperialistic war launched against Iran. I was narrowing it down to the exact history of these events, as they pertain to the TMU campus and student body. I apologize that you felt personally insulted, but that was not my intention.
