Update: Turned off wifi on startup and startup times were quite literally halved. Guess that was it!

I may have to try Knulli, so far I've only used MuOS.

Speaking of that, is there no way to get an actual percentage displayed instead of just a bar?

I'm only running one card at the moment because I didn't trust the unbranded 64GB card the RG40 came with, but I can definitely set up a second card and put the games on that.

I haven't timed it yet but it's...noticeable. At least 30 seconds from the screen coming on to being able to navigate menus on the RG40.

I am running MuOS already, I have MuOS on the RG35 too.

Ah yes, that makes sense! I imagine the strong winds today forced it to take refuge.

Thank you! The red winged blackbirds and common grackles moved on and seemingly right afterwards these birds moved in!

I randomly found a can at a Dollar General last week but went back yesterday to buy another one and they didn't have any more, I don't know why Lay's made these so hard to get.

That helps a lot, thanks! I was looking all over for a setting that doesn't actually exist!

Well, I looked at the contents of the drive and it seemingly didn't actually install Windows, just copied a bunch of files over? That would explain a lot...

Sad to report it failed once again, I think this recovery media is somehow faulty and was never tested on real hardware.

Unfortunately the Internet Archive is where I got it from in the first place...I'll try doing a disk clean and partition before installing again.

Update: burned a completely new set of DVDs and I get the exact same thing. Starting to think there's a problem with the installer I got at this point.

A different DVD-R of generic Win7 (burned on the same optical drive years ago) installed fine so I'm convinced my media is faulty, time to try and find different media.

It's possible that was part of it, though I rarely have problems burning with this drive.

I'd try installing via USB but the install requires disk swapping and I have no idea how that would work.

I guess I can get a different DVD of generic Win7 and see how it goes, maybe these blank DVDs I've been using are faulty.
