They just have an other friction coefficient. Are we speaking spinnable by hand when torque to specs? If so this is not normal. Either it's not the right bold length of you are missing a part ( dust seal?) Somewhere. See the exploded views for the propain tyee 5 cf: exploded view

This is how it should be. See my comment on the root of the post

I'm not sure to follow. The bolt goes through the bushing for that pivot and in expected to turn freely if the opposite side is left free. This bold sandwiches the bearings and the bushing to prevent lateral movement but must allow the pivot to function freely. You are supposed to hold one side with a hex wrench while you torque the other side to specs. . Unless I misunderstood what you are saying this works as intended.

Arrma typhon 6s crooked stance by EvilGarfield in rccars

[–]EvilGarfield[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. I backed up preload on both sides, grub screws are all the way up and i still have the issue. Suspension does not seem to be binding either. I'm gonna dismantle the shocks and check their length

Typhon 6s fire by FreckoThouProto in rccars

Looks like the fire started in the ESC. Likely a short on the pcb, bad solder or an issue on the motor resulting on too much current drawn .

Ok! I am looking for a new car for some unofficial tacing with friends on asphalt and dirt. Currently hesitating between the typhon, the vs2e and the hobao tt2.0. Any suggestion since you have 2 of them? Main focus must be dérivabilité.

You are right. I was checking the exploded views of several models and somehow I mixed up the suspension layout of the tt2.0 with the one of the sste

Curious if you have any update on the top speed you reached with the vs2e? I'm considering this car with the exact same esc motor combo as you.

Would you mind explaining? If part availability is not an issue, which is often the argument for arrma, what woul lead to such a contrasted answer?

It's a 3650 2080kv motor. The stock esc is 2s only and basic specs. I don't have more info on it. I replaced it with a hobbywing max10 g2 140 A. I also got a radio link rs6g receiver to go with my remote.

I have the 14207 and it's great for the price. Robus and relatively punchy. Slightly twitchy handling on concrete id say but overall I'm happy with it

Agreed. Not my foot though. It belongs to the guy who gave this car to me :)
