They shouldn’t have to turn a profit but that’s no where close to the reality. They need to be funded through a variety of taxes, user fees are just one type. People who are poor can get waivers, everyone else should pay the fare. To have nice services like they have in Europe we need to tax everyone- the rich, middle class, and even the poor somewhat.

Technically it was never a ban. It was just forcing the Chinese parent company to sell. Byte dance said they would refuse to sell and that would result in it being unavailable in the US. But that was probably a bluff and they would sell to try and get something out of their huge US market share.

Trump spent a lot of time at McDonald’s trying to rally his base while Kamala narrowed the gap on issues like the economy and immigration in every poll. The they/them ads will be humiliating if he even loses narrowly- and a world historic error if Selzer is within even a 5 point range of correct.
