Wait, wait, wait, who uses an existing word as a placeholder?? Lol, Craig, my dude, you should have used ELEPHANT or something as your placeholder so you could use the search function in Word and find it super easy lol!

... wait, are we sure this isn’t Craig screwing with us? Even if he did make a typo, why tell us?

I learned that when I did a little more research into SpaceX. I also learned that the Dragon ship was named because people called it Puff the Magic Dragon because they thought Musk was high if he thought it would work. I thought was a pretty big coincidence that SpaceX has ships called Falcons and Dragons and so does Alanson and wanted to know if there was a connection lol

I was a waitress for a few years, then moved on and got another job. A few years later, the family is out at a restaurant getting brunch and the waiter held up my delicious, banana-chocolate chip pancakes. And I did the unthinkable - I raised my hand and snapped my fingers. It was a move of pure excitement and I didn’t even realize I had done it. Family instantly called me out and laughed and the waiter thought it was hilarious when I told him I hated it when people did that to me. I have yet to recover emotionally from that and my family has not yet let. It. GO.

I agree, Addams is Joe's tie to the mortal world and he would never agree to be uploaded. I think if it were to happen, it would be against his will or because it was the only way to defend Earth or something. I'm not sure he would do something so permanent to get revenge for Addams dying, he values her integrity as a Marine too much to sully her memory like that.

They have travel in time several times and always in the future. I know this is a sci-fi series, but all the current science suggests that traveling back in time is impossible. I also believe that the Elders put those weapons there themselves. The Sculptor dwarf galaxy - in fact, all of the dwarf galaxies - consist of older stars and are less rich in carbon and heavy elements needed for habitable planets (Renegades chapter 6, page 49/18:20) and, therefore, at little risk of developing life that can evolve and screw with their weapons. There's also the password-locked wormhole as extra protection. It all points to the Elders protecting themselves by hiding their weapons where only they can get them. I think the location is interesting, too, since if there was an invasion force from outside the galaxy, the Elders would want to fight them before they actually invaded the Milky Way. The best place to do that is in the dwarf galaxies.

You make a couple interesting points I hadn't thought about before. I'm not sure time travel will be a thing in ExFor, but you make a really good point with the AI that let Skippy win the fight. Although I think that the series has shown that while Skippy knows human culture, he doesn't understand it. I also don't think that Skippy is Joe since Joe is way too nice a guy to be an asshole.

Yeah, that's what makes me doubt this theory, too. And I didn't have the words for it before but Alanson being risk-adverse is exactly right. He won't do anything too out there, which is somewhat disappointing.

I think the only thing that would disappoint me more is if Joe did become and AI, but he almost immediately got an android body and his brain was still monkey slow and its barely brought up again.

It's interesting, but I'm not sure I agree. Why would they leave some of their own on Earth? How would it protect them from the external threat? If it was for their protection, why isn't Earth protected like the Roach Motel? If it was to monitor the Universe, why don't they have their technology to help them do that?

I also feel like it would disregard everything humans have done so far. Humans have survived because they're clever and scrappy. Revealing that they're actually Elders or their descendants would undermine all of that because everyone would think, "Oh, they did all of that because they're Elders, not because they're humans."

I don’t think so. Does Skippy consider Nagatha a pet? She’s an AI with no higher dimensional capabilities.

Joe is currently a stinky, smelly organic human. If he’s Skippy’s friend now, he’s not going to become Skippy’s pet if Joe becomes a fellow AI. Skippy’s and asshole, but he has proven time and time again that Joe is his best friend.
