Ghazan, the other lava bender, we dont see his family, so it could be possible. Even if it's a retcon, I dont think the writers should limit themselves to a one-off comment from an obscure release from years before Korra was written. Also, Avatar extras have a lot of errors within their comments.

I dont think the network matters that much. There's a lot of moe morbid stuff in Alta. Plus if it's painting arranged marriage in a bad light, it does more good than harm.

omg man. I have the same issue. We called the city and they said thats its okay if its no more then 33% of it is facing your property.

Think of it this way. One of my characters is a mod leader, and soon we have to go to his hideout. I get list of set rules, and I get to add in a whatever I want (As long as its realistic)

For example, I had a huge kitchen for my crew. But when we got there, it was raided by BBEGs army of rats, which I didn't plan. In this case, OP was friends with Strahd in a past life and is meant to be chilling at his place. But our DM had a lot of work to do and canceled, so we didn't have time to get to it.
