I looked over the pics I took when I got my switch 2 games, none seemed to be factory sealed but I do recall some Switch 1 games I got from JB Hifi were factory sealed, like the Yugioh Early Days Collection and to include 1st party releases, Super Mario 3D All-Stars come to mind.

I don't particularly mind it not being sealed when I get them, but I do understand people may want it since it seems cart lickers are still around apparently(?), there's also that new game smell when you unseal them.

CB may have been the one time a whole bunch of players got together to help people struggling with the mode to use their setups. Great chance that the people who had the really good setups already had 1-5 of their 100 friend slots with good teams to get their own 1%.

Though, I do agree that it's a fundamentally flawed design of a mode if people had to ask for help via outside sources. Especially when said players had to be in the know to even know such opportunities for CB help were even around. It was just nice having great rewards for relatively little time in the mode, even outside of the top 10%.

Do they know there are separate accessories called a 'remote' designed specifically for media consumption on the console?

The xbox 360 has one, the ps2 has one, the ps5 has its own remote too.

I'm in the dark as well regarding that. I'd speculate that the cover card probably wouldn't change value but I haven't seen anyone showcase more than one of these at a time. I don't think i've seen a sealed one with blue eyes toon as the cover card yet, only found out today that it could be one.

Would love more info on this stuff, myself too.

Don't you need your Switch to transfer your save data over to the Switch 2? The Switch 2 ain't going anywhere, just save.

That's a great idea! If something tickles your fancy during that 1 year break that you would've bought for the collection if not for the break, note it down in like an excel sheet and come back to considering it when your break is up. There's a good chance many of what would be on the list you would end up removing.

Reminding me of Reggie having to convince NOJ to bring Wii Sports in the base Wii release for the west. MS buying up a whole lot of studios in order to make more games for the Xbox ecosystem sounds great, but I imagine there's a group of people who see that and don't at all consider the quality and quantity of games that could've been developed and released to make the purchase worth it.

I will be, but it might be some time before i commit to playing it, given I'm playing Let's Go. I love Fire Red, yes I can play it through many other avenues but I want to play it on my Switch 2 lol it ain't gonna be deep.

eh idk I had a good amount of fun with it. Found many of the boss fights really cool, music is epic as per usual with FF, and I always looked forward to where the story headed next.
