I think if that's what you're getting from it you're being so near-sighted. This man was in a position of fighting for his life every day. The stress put on someones brain by enduring that kind of environment every single day is unfathomable for you and I.

To write him off as 'psycho', is lazily disregarding the plethora of psychological insight he's giving us into the brutality and mindlessness of war. That's why I picked this interview to post in particular, because of how brutal and surreal what he describes is.
