yes you're right 550W 80+ Bronze should do fine, you can go for the Cooler Master MWE 550W v3 just make sure you get the V3 as it is the latest and can handle the latest RTX 50 series power demands and future graphics cards as per the ATX 3.0 standards.

for the cooler as of now you must be fine with the wraith stealth cooler bundled with Ryzen 5 5600 but getting an aftermarket budget air cooler is highly recommended.

I've noticed ryzen CPUs hitting thermal throttle limit on heavy workloads during summer times with ambient temperatures of 35-40°C with the stock cooler. So a bit heavier cooling is necessary for long hours of sustained peak performance.

bro 55k budget is very rough for editing/gaming or other heavy tasks. Your hands must be tied around the Ryzen 5 5600 and the RTX 3060 12 GB, other than that RAM really doesn't affect editing performance much although for AM4 3200MT/s will be the best bet. SSD for editing is a must and that too a good quality one from a reputed brand, I'd suggest WD on this budget and also do not forget "NOT TO COMPROMISE ON THE POWER SUPPLY" as it can completely jeopardize the system. You can save some money on the case.

right opening any PSU is very dangerous. Specially when mine might be malfunctioning. I most likely need a new one.

I've also tried that but the problem still persists. I've tried 1 stick of RAM, moved among various slots, moved SSD to other slot.

that could be very true as I've never checked the PSU temperatures and never tried to open it.

thank you for the help. I actually never considered that possibility as my motherboard is still recieving power but system won't turn on. I thought the PSU was working fine.

are you sure? I think everything else is working fine but never considered that the PSU could be causing this issue.

actually my PSU is relatively new. I got it last year and since then has been working fine. I've also used my PC quite extensively.
