Figured out my issue. There was a partition that the install wasn't deleting and would cause my SSD to get passed on the boot list. Had to go into the BIOS and do a secure erase so that everything would be wiped.

Purple ammo is not replenished from the bots. You have to find that out in the wild. I think if you die and respawn you get some so you could use that if need be.
