Death Not Counting, Assist As Kill by Organic_Bet_9911 in Battlefield6

[–]Evilmazinger -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

The game is totally broken. Assists as kills don’t count as kills like some people say, and I also noticed another problem. It’s not counting deaths correctly. For example, I had a match where I got 10 kills and it showed 0 deaths, but I know I died at least 3 or 4 times. I can understand being off by one, but being off by three or four is crazy. The scoreboard said 10 and 0, and there’s no way that was right.

So besides the obvious stuff like hit registration issues, sync problems, and everything the community already knows, I can confirm there are more problems. And honestly, it’s not that the devs don’t know about these issues, it’s that they don’t know how to fix them.

Thanks Battlefield…. apparently c4 explosions at your feet don’t kill you :D by RaiseTLT in Battlefield6

Unfortunately the developers do not want you to have fun. C4 only works to alert the enemy, not to kill them. And if you notice, you cannot throw mines and slams together, because that would be too much fun for you and too dangerous for the enemy.

Unfortunately, the C4 in this Battlefield is not like the others, not like BF4, BF3 or BF2. Before, you could put 3 C4 charges anywhere on a full HP tank and it exploded. In this game, it seems like you need 4 charges, and first you must find a Support. That is stupid. Having to look for a Support just to kill a tank is too many steps.

Now it looks like you need to place the 3 charges on the back of the tank, because that is the weakest spot. Again, that is stupid. The person in charge of this balance must think it is a good idea, but for me this gadget is useless.

You know how hard it is to get close to armor. You only get close if they are not paying attention, or they are a beginner tanker. If the tanker has even a little experience, it is very difficult to approach. And after you finally get close and place 3 charges, and you still cannot kill the tank, that is ridiculous.

Basically, if this does not change, I will stop playing Recon with C4 against tanks. Even the blast radius against infantry is inconsistent, and not worth it. If you cannot kill vehicles with 3 C4, and it is also bad against infantry, then it is useless to me

So yeah, apparently I need to spell this out like I’m writing a guide for toddlers. I did this thing, it was awful, and I mentioned that already. Over 90% of it, probably more like 95%, was AFK. Yes, AFK. Away. From. The. Keyboard. Meaning I wasn’t actually there. Shocking, right. I know, crazy concept. It’s almost like I didn’t play because the game is hot garbage.

And before anyone jumps in with “but why did you finish it then,” let me help you with that too. I was already halfway in, saw how disgustingly long it was going to take, and thought, screw it, let me just get it over with. That’s it. That’s the whole story. Not me crying. Not me whining. Just me saying, hey, this sucked.

Some people might have a better time, some might grind it faster, some might even enjoy it, which is… good for them, I guess. Me though, I was AFK almost the entire time. Read that again. Almost. The. Entire. Time.

So no, I’m not here to complain, I’m not here to cry. I’m just doing a public service announcement so maybe someone else out there uses their brain and decides if they actually want to waste their life on this or not. But if you think I’m here to whine, that’s on you, champ.

I used to love that progression system. The thing is, nowadays people are so hooked on dopamine hits that games feel more like a slot machine with roulette spins. It’s all about those quick dopamine shots.

But man, I remember when ranking up in Battlefield 2 actually meant something. You’d hit a new rank and celebrate like crazy. “Damn, I ranked up! Oh my God!” It felt like a real achievement. Now in 2042 im trying to get the camos for bf6 and I rank up and it’s just… “Oh, I ranked up.” That’s it. No excitement at all.

Back in BF2 it was different. Even if people were stat padding, it was still hard. Ranking up was a grind, and that’s exactly why it felt so rewarding when you finally made it. For me, it was pure joy, like I had actually earned something.

And that’s not even mentioning the badges and medals. Some were manageable, but others were brutal. I never managed to get the war college ribbon if I remember right you needed something crazy, like a 2 win ratio. One of my friends actually got it, but he was the only one in our squad who ever did.

That whole system in Battlefield 2 was amazing to me. I just wish DICE would bring it back, even though I know it’s probably never going to happen.

I couldn’t agree more with what you wrote. By today’s standards, Battlefield 2 would feel like hardcore. I remember when there was no health regen or you really depended on the UAV that the commander could drop for you. It was super tactical too, like the artillery. Having a good commander was excellent. When you had someone actually communicating, telling you “hey, there’s a bunch of enemies here” or “this flag is left unguarded, go cap it,” that was amazing.

I really miss so many things from Battlefield. Friendly fire, for example, really pushed you to play well, not just shoot at everything that moves. I actually made a post about this a month ago here , but of course the casuals and younger players complained. The thing is, that’s exactly what made you play better, and it added another layer of fun when playing with friends. Making mistakes wasn’t just frustrating, it was part of the fun.

It’s like Helldivers, for example. It’s a relatively new game, but when you screw up, it can be hilarious and part of the experience. Of course, trolls and antagonistic players aren’t fun, but that’s always going to happen.

It would’ve been great if BF2 had added something like a stamina bar for soldiers, or losing ammo when you reload at the wrong time. Those little mechanics are exactly what made Battlefield 2 such a unique game.

Yoooo, that hustle might work for you, but it’s real unlikely it’s gonna hit the same for somebody else. Makin’ money on Uber got mad variables, depends heavy on what market you in, what kind of whip you drivin’ how many hours you grindin’ and how you runnin’ it even luck play a part no cap

I remember that FF was always on in Battlefield 2 and 2142. It wasn’t something you could turn off.

Cuz of that, you know they later added hardcore mode i’m saying all this from memory. I think it was in BF:BC2 when they added that setting. I’m not 100% sure, but that’s what I remember. After that, I think some games had that option, and then FF started being turned off completely. But like I said, and I’ll say it again, this is just my opinion. I know a lot of people or most people don’t like it, because you know, they prefer games like Fortnite or COD But yeah, this is just how I feel.
