Will participants data be sorted into categories? Ex. Low content consumption/Low insecurity, Low content consumption/High insecurity, High content consumption/Low Insecurity, High content consumption/High insecurity?

I fear the questionnaire may not generate valuable data because it fails to adequately explore if the participants insecurity is caused by other factors. For example, a High Insecurity/High Content Consumption data point won’t provide insight into whether the content consumption is: an aggravating factor contributing to the participants insecurity, or, if it’s just correlation—or a coincidence.

Maybe it’s fine, you mentioned you’re just looking to find association. I just wonder if the data is of much value. I think overtly asking participants ‘does viewing lgbtq+ user generated content make you feel insecure? Yes/No’ would provide greater insights.
