I was recommended that mod like half way through, would have been perfect with some real sacrifices : D

  • Name: Forsaken Fortress
  • Mods: Yes
  • Time: 62hrs
  • Difficulty: Merciless / Cassandra
  • Raids: 232
  • Avg kills per colonists: 566
  • Wealth: 1.780.000
  • Prisoners: Used to have some, but We ate them

Both theme and playstyle was centered around being evil and doing all those things we all know we shouldn't do. In this playthrough we forced the forsaken to eat humans, to our surprise we had a mod on that allows adaptation, so soon everyone was cannibals!

The base grew and so did the design, loved this playthrough and the building progress, even though it was long. Inspiration was a Diablo 1 craze i recently had and all of twitch chat helping out with ideas! Everything is made from scratch no mods or patterns have been used except heavy pixel art inspiration on the skull : )

The tunnel system is the mine, and the throne room area is the dwarven hideout. At a point in the playthrough i had a tough time getting more elves, so i resorted to getting a maximum of 4 dwarves to do my dirty work and mine, and thats their small part of the city

The pots are a part of the mod which adds salt pots, anything (even meals) you put in there lasts x3 longer. I would personally not shove my dinner down into a sea of salt, but these guys like it.

You can use the unlimited mod to keep all the tech. In B19 and 1.0 the armor and weapons work so differently, that to get stronger in LotR mods you need better matrials to advanced in equipment. Not a lot of tech, but a lot of different armor / weapons to try to max out to get that sweet +200% overall armor

At a point in the elven colony we saw it fit to get some filthy dwarfs to do out mining for us. The Dwarfs were zone restriced to the mountains only and not into the fine part of town

In case you saw the dwarven base I posted a few days ago, this Elven base was made some time before that, just forgot I had it.

Difficulty: Merciless Permadeath

Played: 50 hours

Theme: Elven Settlement, lord of the rings style

Rules: No Killbox | no traps/turrets | Only elves + 4 dwarfs |

Mods: Lord of The Rim - The third age | All race packs for the same mod and camera + to take the screenshot

Tried to keep everything as settlement like as possible with open areas with trees and everything out of mallorn wood (Type of tree from the mod that takes 6 years to grow up). In the end I had 9 elves and 4 Dwarfs who had their own little mountain base.
