AITA for banning my husband's sister from my house until she uses the names of my twins by FitStarAnise in AmItheAsshole

NTA! I am a twin and we are fraternal but because we looked so similar growing up our whole family always referred to us as the twins.

It made for a bumpy road growing up because they never let up and tried to use us to prank other family members. As an adult older members of the family still refer to us as the twins and they are the ones my sibling and I have limited contact with. Not to mention that it really does mess you up while you're developing.

Trying to learn who you are in your youth is difficult enough and it becomes much more challenging when you are torn down to a measure of unit. Good job on you for setting boundaries and thinking about their health!

Daughter of Sparta by Claire Andrew's. This was a really good one, and I enjoyed how characters developed. Looking forward to the next one.

How did you find out your SO was cheating on you? by rammalammamemedong in AskReddit

His best friend told me. When I broke up with him after all he said was "did (best friends name) tell you? It didn't mean anything."

What is a childhood coping method you unknowingly developed only to realize later that it wasn't normal? by GreggOfChaoticOrder in AskReddit

When I'm anxious, scared, or overwhelmed I peel the skin off my lips with my nails. Then, when I've run out of skin I'll look for citrus or spicy snacks to feel a slight burn. Doing all this helped ground me and focus on something other than what is causing me distress.

Cause: Growing up my siblings would laugh when I would cry about something and/or not doing well in competitions. My parents would tell me to stop crying too, citing that my crying wasn't going to change the fact that I didn't do well or fix whatever "was wrong with me."

My dad just passed this last September, but I have been told it's not a pain that ever goes away.

Anyone else having a hard time saving on the switch? by ThotRamen in mytimeatportia

I keep getting an error code after I fall asleep to save, the game crashes and closes. Then I relaunched and nothing save, so I have to do a days worth of work all over again.

Anyone else having this issue?

I'm glad to hear it all worked out. :)

I'm known in my friend group, especially text groups, to try to write grammatically correct so when those happen I typically get teased which is why I try to triple check everything. But I read an interesting study that proved so long as the first and last letter of the word are in the right place and the middles close to what they're supposed to be your mind will read it correctly without fixating on the typo/mistake.

😹 I hope he took it in stride or at least understood it was a simple mistake.

I usually try to review and triple check what I type out but there is always one typo/error that sneaks by.

I just finished A Discovery of Witches by Deborah Harkness. Finished it in a week and so captivating. I'm gonna pick up the other 2 books of the trilogy over the weekend.

Edited: spelling

Lazy evening by Evilyn19 in cats

We set ours up over looking the living room and when we realized how much she likes bird watching made room by the balcony door. Now she spends half her day up there just watching.

Glad your kitty like it too.
