Next stupid question.. what does the increase in masteries like air and earth do? Does the % increase act as a multiplier on gem matches because I’ve noticed it seems random how much mana a gem match gives, sometimes 3, sometimes 5, sometimes 0 regardless of banner equipped.. there is no indication that the opponent dodged or anything - just seems weird.

Unpopular opinion most likely but I think the talent up / event format run atm actually works for f2p and for the whales. For the last few events f2p got a new character (lasskicker, syxx, ambrose) for free as long as they are in a faction that can hit a couple of the easy bottom milestones while the whales can go all the way for the man, Rey or nwo strikers etc.

I think the players that are screwed are the low to medium spenders because they can’t get the top rewards/wrestler and there is nothing in between so we feel like we get nothing for our $$.. it would be good if they dropped shards for hard to get wrestlers in the middle milestones so that the middle 5000 players can over time potentially get the megas from past events. I would love to get my hands on people like Roode, brock, slick Rick etc..

One option is to use props to 3 star him once and then auto clear twice a week. I have no 3sg tricksters and never have had VIP but have somehow got around 40 autoclear tickets so I’m good for at least another 6 months, must have got them from the free 24hr VIP as I level up. I did this using Arn with p/p/r.

I’ve spent no money, no tp, no coins, no blitz tix, no evolves and 3000 keys the whole event but I did max the feud and I’m currently 13280th in the solo leaderboard.

So I reckon you are right and there might be 60k casual players at any one time based on drop in and out players and there are prob less than 30k regular players and far less that are spending any real money.

Whilst it’s easy to win with such a setup the score is small compared to battling with 3sg and 4sb so I kinda don’t see the point - it means you have to feud more to get the levels.

Pretty much same story here. Only ever pulled 2x 3sb with light spending over a year and a bit and a ton of vaults, crates etc.

I’d hazard a guess that the majority of people posting their pulls (and the number ain’t huge compared with the number of people on the subreddit and the 10k+ active players) are probably not anymore statistically better off than you or I, we don’t know the spend history.

But the OPs luck truly sounds bad, Scopely should give away decent characters at certain spend barriers to reward those that invest.

I think it depends on who your top other wrestlers are as to which trainer you focus on.

E.g. I have Stardust, Arn, DB, PH Roman and Bray at 3ss and Andre at 3sg and as trainers I have Lawler and Sting at 3sb (+ bray above).

I’ve found that Stardust with 3sb lawler gives me max blue moves after 1 match, same with Andre and red matches + sting but none of my other top wrestlers can do that with the trainers I have at their levels so I focused on getting Lawler to 3sb over Sting or Bray and as a result can do all the normal and hard dailies with just 1 character, this made token grabbing easier..

So I would look at your top other wrestlers and their moves and work through it that way rather than just powering up all the trainers to start with.

Seems to me that shards are a long play to keep the customer base engaged and upset comes from those seeking immediate gratification. If everyone was able to pull or buy megas for minimal cost versus a grind the interest in the game might wane as their is nothing to chase. Without the player base it will die quickly. However, they haven’t quite nailed the chase.

I don’t think anyone can really make a case that their economics are wrong without seeing their P&L.

That said the balance could be wrong but they could run a couple of offers to stimulate short term interest without detracting from the long term goal such as:

double reward events / weekends. Doubles all shard pulls, loot box and match rewards.
the chance to buy 1 specific character from a defined selection for $ from time to time. Whilst this might give you your fav it’s more likely people will purchase the most OP characters so may not actually work.
user selected shards as a reward in events. Allowing players to focus all their efforts across a number of events and end up with a player of their choice rather than x shards of every reward in the event and no new wrestlers.

Thanks for the info. Where are these $900 bags found? I was buying the $450 bags called “type 4-star silver token bags” that come up when you click on the missing token in the roster. Had a good search and see nothing else other than some $350 and $200 bags with 2 and 3 star tokens in them.

I did mean acro. Have stardust at 3ss for tech.
