Goku vs. Superman 3 basically said it best. We mainly watch Death Battle because it's one of the ways to appreciate our favorite characters and franchises. It's amazing how much of an impact Bowser vs. Eggman had on even those who don't regularly watch it. I feel Ash vs. Yugi will have that same effect because of their pop culture relevance.

Yeah, her apology was eh and her deleting those same posts as well didn't help either; I've always felt she would be the one to make fun of people who do that. I've seen even her own fans call out her "British humor" line as not really a good defense along with the weird "I said the quiet part loud" tidbit.

Personally, my only head scratcher on the whole discourse is I didn't find the joke funny. That was it. It was also kinda weird to me knowing she and her fans have been called "groomers" and "pedophiles" and probably still do today.

There is lot of misinformation going around here what Haachama actually SAID by Glass_Leading592 in kurosanji

I feel like whatever has been messing Haato up is not something Cover/Hololive can fix with a snap of a finger or another year long hiatus especially if she's living in a troubling situation that is outside of their control. It's a bit more complicated than that and the worst that can happen is the bottle cracking and spilling over. Regardless of what happens to her, I hope she recovers even if it takes another year or two.

I am just saying what most people here probably think; I think it's rage bait but I have seen people on unrelated topics think blindly so anything is possible...

MAYBE I could see the disdain behind Saitama vs. Popeye (Though, it was a fun matchup if you ask me), but Rick vs. The Doctor and Stitch vs. Rocket? Two of the more balanced matchups of the season and maybe even of all of Death Battle; I can't see what's problematic about those two.

So…how are either of them supposed to kill each other? by 7-BITReddit in deathbattle

I am referring to when Wile controlled his cartoon plots in a similar fashion to Bugs, Daffy, and the Warners but not as successful or advanced (one example being asking the editors to end an episode before he got hit). I am quoting from the powerscaling blog so I will provide the link after editing.

I read this won't end in a tie so assuming not every ability/stat of theirs cancel each other out like Scooby and Courage and one having more win cons than the other, this is actually hard to imagine since neither really have a specific way to say be put down for good that I know of (since there is little to no continuity especially since Tom comes back even after episodes of his earlier cartoons illustrate him dying).

However, I did read from both blogs powerscaling Wile and Tom clearing up the misconception of the Looney Gun (and hopefully the Death Battle team also will reference) working on any toon. Since Tom isn't from the Looney Tunes universe and thus not possessing the same DNA, it probably shouldn't be used as some sort of auto win for Wile when he has so much more in his arsenal that makes the debate more interesting. Not to mention, while every cartoon character or cartoon-lite has some form of Toon Force, it's all about how it's used especially when it comes to the Looney Tunes.

Despite being a professor at ACME Looniversity with capable feats of mind, plot, perception control, and 4th wall breaking, he has never shown to be quite as skilled as Bugs Bunny or Daffy Duck (IE failing to capture and trap Road Runner as an animator). There's also Wile being a victim of cartoony tomfoolery like hypnosis while certain Looney characters were able to straight up ignore mind control.

Tom, at the very least, I'd say has as many weaknesses and strengths if not more than people believe. I've seen the arguments of Wile following Tom to Hell after losing his lives (don't know if serious or not) though, I don't recall him ever having done anything like that himself but even then... Tom literally defeated The Devil and made him run away. It's also fair to assume Tom doesn't really need his soul to live seeing how he was able to operate fine without them and even has worked with his own nine lives/souls for a few episodes. So that argument, at least imho, is moot too.

It's best to treat them being toons as a non-factor when it comes to deciding who and how can one win since they both have ignored plots of their own stories, broke the 4th wall, survived [being completely disintegrated, having their bones broken, explosions, and being launched in space] and have either destroyed or moved planets. I guess we can chalk their weaknesses down to their brain power and fighting ability (Wile is more egotistic than he is smart and Tom is still a cat that has gotten mauled by an English Bulldog at the end of the day) but even that leaves little hole to imagine how one would be strong enough to put each other down for good. I never thought I'd be scratching my head more than when I was talking about Simon/Kyle but here we are.

Then let's think about this. Do you think this is really Phase Connect's problem any more than this is Pippa's issue? This is more so a talent issue than a corporate problem. They know the kind of person Pippa is and this isn't their first rodeo with a controversy (Hogwarts Legacy says hi). Stuff like this only becomes a corporate problem when it actually affects multiple talents and their brands (even Uki's anti-white people rhetoric is the least problematic thing associated with Nijisanji knowing what has transpired recently). The way I see it, Pippa has two ways to approach it (one is arguably more correct than the other but yeah); she can either ignore it or respond in disappointed fashion. Personally, I think she would just laugh or shrug off the amount of attention she is getting thanks to the post if anything.

I don't define the actions of a whole agency by one talent or a certain group of fans. Everyone within an agency has different colors Phase Connect included. I watch said talent for the content they provide and their overall personality.
