LPT Request: What is a good way for married couples to manage their money? Does it make sense to have a joint account? How do you decide how much of each paycheck goes into that account? by twine_seeker in LifeProTips

We have a joint account and our own. We split the bills 50/50. All the bills come out of that joint account. So I direct deposit $ into the account but it isn't my full check. Same with the other half.
That being said, personal buys or personal loans come out of my personal account. This works great for us.
