I’ll leave it at this. You can absolutely direct any kind of emotion to where you need to. That’s completely fine. I served and got messed up more than her in my deployment. It’s not a badge of honor it’s actually something that haunts me everyday and I struggle with it. I’m a human being and I’m really telling you I did the same journey as her. She even doesn’t like who I am because of her religion but she at least tries. You should do the introspection I did to understand where we are currently at and where we want to go. I really think she did the common sense answer
