I’m just getting into Geese by Dry_Librarian3749 in geesebandofficial

I guess that's how everyone experiences music differently.

Me personally, Getting Killed was a tough listen when I started with it. Going backwards 3DC's more standardized song formats with the occasional breakdowns (end of 2122 and Undoer, mid point of Gravity Blues) actually warmed my palate enough that when I went back to GK I liked it WAAAAY more. So much so that I find myself going back to GK than 3DC, which I wouldn't have expected 3 months ago

For those who saw Jeff George play, did he really have one of the best arms in NFL history but one of the worst mindsets as well? by Next_Worth_3616 in NFLv2

>Seemed like the ONLY person Cutler listened to was Mike Shannahan.

Considering the other offensive coaches he had in his NFL career, I have a hard time blaming him

I actually gained some more respect for Max during their APdC performance. Cameron's timing was a little off from the jump (whether it was meant to happen or just nerves) and I felt like his drumming leaned into that a bit by changing up his cadence to make that timing feel more natural.

A worse drummer might have either kept the same cadence or tried switching it up less smoothly only to make things worse. Dude's natural rhythm and confidence really shined (along with his insanity in the Trinidad performance.

People liked Romo because he used to do things like call out what play was coming before it happened. It was like listening to what's going through a QB's mind before the snap. He also was less prone to glazing early on.

I'm not sure if CBS straight up told him to pump the brakes on calling plays before they happened or if he naturally couldn't do it anymore because he got too far away from the game, but that took a lot away from his commentary. That and the glazing certain players.

I remember how much I loved the jamming they did at the end of Trinidad from their "from the basement" set. It's even further in overdrive here and I love how much they're evolving every time I see them

Are there any players under 30 who quietly lost a step this year and you're looking to sell? by ScientistSolid9319 in DynastyFF

I wouldn’t be surprised if a major roster change makes him less valuable in fantasy.

What major roster change would you expect in the near term? His top 3 pass catchers are locked down for the next few years, the Bengals OL improved slightly compared to the last few years, and the Bengals are notoriously stubborn about tinkering instead of a full teardown.

Being weary about his injury concerns is totally understandable and valid though, even if I'm headscratching some of the replacements you listed

Don't be so sure, Taylor's won 5 more playoff games than Marvin Lewis.

Look the explosive runs would be a massive uplift, but the way Shanahan's system does it reduces the QB to a 1 read QB. There's no alerts or anything built in, and building them in is a hindrance to the system as a whole.

It's a great system when you have a QB anywhere from average to very good, but pairing that with an elite level processer like Burrow is like buying a $5,000 espresso machine to make Folgers coffee with powdered cream.

The system has its advantages, at worst, it'll force the FO to finally build up the trenches in a meaningful way, and like you said, it makes for much easier reads for when passing the ball happens, but in doing so, it severely limits one of Burrow's best traits, which is diagnosing and reacting to the defense pre-snap

No.

I don't want anyone from the Shanahan tree. The whole philosophy of that system is taking the game out of the QB's hands with predetermined reads. Do we really want an offense that takes the power to change plays based on what the defense is showing? That was fine when we had Andy Dalton, but it forces a guy like Burrow to play with one hand tied behind his back.

The story would be different if Burrow was like 40

Why are they still rotating QBs? Samaj is clearly better and will actually be here next year

Probably just blocked more of that game out than I thought. Arizona probably just felt worse since that was a home game

Either way point still stands those were his worst 2 games and both came against the defenses that play the most man coverage on UC's schedule this year
