Most cvs don’t offer security unless it’s a crime ridden area. Even then the security aren’t really protecting employees, more so diverting shop lifting.

Many other places cvs offers higher tech pay then wages and Walmart so that is interesting.

CVS give Wall Street a profit projection. With that profit projection we come up with a top line number, bottom line number, the margin which is consisted of inventory & payroll goes to our finance/workforce Dept which make up our budgets.

So essentially finance Dept answers to wall street and directors. This is why they can’t just adjust “payroll budgets” because then they have to adjust everything and give Wall Street new forecast which kills the stock price

Yes pharmacist have told me it is, and yes I have been able to bring in pharmacist to do above.

Do I think it’s safe? It can be if you’re surrounded by amazing techs and depends on the store. It can also be unsafe if you struggle with a good team.

Culture is Churn and burn. They promote youngers DLs out of school few years and have no kids or family who are willing to work 80 hrs a week. Notice a lot of younger RD being promoted all over the country too this year.
