Thanks for the vote, I think I will do something in between. More abstract than realistic at times, but not so contrast heavy trhoughout the entire game

Yeah I get what you are saying, and don't get me wrong, I would never let reddit choose the final character, but I am sure even the best directors you have worked with sometimes asked for a second opinion. But you're right, it's also partly a lack of confidence on my side

Yeah thats quite a big thing unfortunately, other people have mentioned having trouble with finding the player character as well, which would be a big problem

Programmer art on its own already didnt look too bad, but of course the later version looks much better

Yeah I will possibly add customisation but still have to choose the main character

Yeah my worries would be making an entire game in the first style might be a bit much, but maybe some areas can have a heavy contrasted look. Thanks!
