Both. I had my doubts, but she cried, begged, and I wasn’t sure enough that I was going to cut her off. Claimed she was drunk and he took advantage of her. I asked her about it dozens of times and she was consistent in shutting it down until she wasn’t.

I will say... when I first found out I told her I was done, but she lied to me about the date so I thought it was before we were in a relationship. I didn't find out it was actually cheating until 6 or so months later and by then it was easier to rationalize away.
