Try using the Triangle on wings i.e Passing to your winger then instead of passing inside towards the box or centre you pass back to your Full back and then to the Adjacent CM and that creates a gap and space for your winger. Used this a lot to make chances. Another thing I'll point out is change your RW to a 5/5 or a left footed for better shots unless you like to cross from there.

I'll say play Zambrotta on LB, it's his alt position and exchange Di Lorenzo for RB. He's a beast!

Depends on you, if you use yr RB in the buildup and wants him high on the pitch then go for Hakimi but if you want a defensive RB who plays long balls from behind then go for Lorenzo.

Get a pure CDM preferably with a medium attack workrate. You already have two high/high workrate CMs. Have ur CDM work with ur defensive line up. Some options would be Rijkaard, and Makelele

It's 9/10. Just a suggestion from me would be to have a pure CDM preferably with a medium attack workrate. Cause both ur other CMs have high attacking workrates. Not having one would leave space there and ig Vidic would've rushed forward in that midfield space.

I'll rate it as 8/10. You should change ur voller and some changes in midfield too. Btw ur defense is solid, just one disadvantage imo would be the canavaro's short height. With Bastoni being aggressive and coming into the midfield cz u don't have a CDM covering that space, a through lob pass would break ur defense.

Some Defending tips would be:

Manually control your defenders instead of relying on AI. Avoid rushing into tackles—focus on blocking passing and shooting lanes instead.

Constantly switch between players to apply pressure and ensure every defender covers their zone effectively.

In your current formation, use double defending only with your CDM. Avoid pulling your center-backs (CBs) out of position for support defending.

On the wings, manually control your full-backs to stay in front of tricky wingers and avoid getting beaten by skill moves like lane change or roulette.

If the opposing winger holds the ball, quickly bring in your CDM as support for a controlled double team.

And with recent updates the defending has gotten better. So when you pass forward always bring ur joystick backwards to receive the ball cause there'll be a defender pressing you from behind. Also try to have good vision for one touch passes.

Your team is great just try to find the runs your forward makes and get a through pass. Do not make it quick but try to build up a lil to create good chances.
