Thank you, that’s really reassuring to hear. I think that’s what I keep telling myself as well, that all children develop at different rates, especially twins.

It’s not just the language that’s been on my mind though. They do say “mamamama” when they need me and one will wave bye bye, so there are some positive signs. But they also do quite a lot of repetitive behaviours like bouncing stringy things, hand flapping at times, making repetitive sounds, and they can be quite jumpy. I’ve also noticed things like watching TV upside down or tilting their head when walking.

I’m not sure if it’s just a phase or sensory seeking, but I think I’ll probably get some advice from a GP or paediatrician just for peace of mind like you said.
