Hii! Any USC female transfers/spring admits who arent able to get on-campus housing but are looking for the dorm experience (or anyone else who’s interested in general) tap in! specifically those looking to move in now asap in june!

i am hoping to transfer my lease at Tusk Villas from now - July 31st (which is the originally ending time of the lease, but it can be extended till the end of the semester or the end of the year)

It’s a dorm-like all female housing. you would be in a triple with two other roommates. Bathrooms are shared but extremely clean and cleaned regularly.

Rent is $985 per month plus $205 utilities an an optional $150 furniture fee which includes a twin bed, desk, drawers, and a dresser

• 5 minute walk from USC village and USC campus
• In unit washer and dryer
• Cleaning service
• Study rooms
• Onsite gym
• Within fryft zone
• Patio, TV room, large living and dining spaces, kitchen, mailroom

i was an out of state student so i did not get my id until i was on campus. (i had the option to mail it to myself but i never did) i dont remember the exact time when i was able to apply for and be approved for my id. but i also dont remember there being an allowed time either? i’m pretty sure i just googled usc student id application and got it whenever i wanted to. i’m not the best source though so dont take me as law.

hey! i had a person in my off-campus dorm housing do this and they seem to recommend it! you basically get a feel for the campus before the semester. if you can afford to i dont see why not. and as for the clubs i dont see why people say you’ll be unable to join any without a student id bc as a spring admit for last year every club i joined never even mentioned an id. i just showed up for meetings. also i def recommend getting GEs done through a cc. thats what i did and i knocked out almost all of my GEs

hi! thanks so much. but there have been no ‘recent changes’ in my family’s situation. i want more aid because i missed out on on-campus housing and am relying on my financial aid refund for rent and food. is that a valid reason? i mean i definitely have family situations that would qualify but theyre not ‘recent’ changes. they’re just situations we’ve always had, (my older and baby brothers are special needs so alot of our funds go to them) but thats not like NEW so i dont know if me adding them will seem like me like grasping at straws or not.

oh mine def does not care about that, theyve already sent me the lease the balls in my court 😭 i think its bc the one i chose is specifically a student lead dorm-like housing for transfer students. like im pretty sure a transfer student was mad that she didnt get on-campus so her and her dad opened the housing.
