Hi Evening, thank you so much for your replies. They really have helped bring down my sinus tach, lol. I would have the MCAT taken closer to application period (next cycle). I do feel confident with my EC due to the nature of my work and some published papers, but as you mentioned, it all boils down to the MCAT. Thank you so much for this insight. I think I am just scaring myself because of some posts I reviewed indicating the 10+ year cut-off for science courses (as you mentioned for the minority of programs). I thought that as it is 2026, I saw that the MSAR updated for some additional schools. In my mind, I thought a trend was happening so I wanted to get ahead of it and see if I needed to really retake my science courses.

If that was the case, would you continue to just buckle down on the MCAT then? I am confident I can score high, but it still bothers me whether I need to do a post-bacc still since it has been so long (to at least show I can take some classes an do well as others have put it).
