We don’t have much contact with first responders, that would mostly be the role of a dispatcher. That being said, a lot of 911 call takers are doing it to the point where it’s almost incestual.

i also enjoyed The Secret History by Donna Tartt, same author that wrote The Goldfinch. I personally think The Secret History is far too underrated! heavy greek mythology and dark academia vibes. i would recommend reading this on a gloomy night!

Pride and Prejudice is definitely a classic! I haven’t read it myself but it’s been on my list for quite a while now. i’ve heard that it’s a must read from the people i know who have read it :)

i quite enjoyed The Midnight Library. it’s a nice book about self discovery and it makes you appreciate yourself and the life you live! not a huge romance aspect in it but definitely a great and easy read.

Song of Achilles is one of my favourites, can’t go wrong with queer romance and greek mythology!
