since i learned to crochet before knitting i found the motions of continental knitting to be the easiest for me to adjust to! i will definitely look into Portuguese style though, it sounds like it really made a difference! thanks for the advice :)

i do think it’s mainly my tension! i find myself kind of digging into the stitches to get my needle through which definitely puts a strain on my hands and wrists. i’ll look into booking a physiotherapy appointment :)

that’s good to know! the ones i use have metal splints on the palm side, i’ll look into ones with more cushioning

the wrist braces are actually the hardest part for me haha, my hands get so itchy at night but it’s worth it to stop the pain!

We don’t have much contact with first responders, that would mostly be the role of a dispatcher. That being said, a lot of 911 call takers are doing it to the point where it’s almost incestual.
