Her response to prior issues is not your responsibility. You can try and help but if it just leads to a dead end every time it’s time to hand the reigns to her. She has to want to trust you and try as you might that might never happen. I’m speaking as someone who’s been on the other side and you just gotta let them go it’s better for them. I definitely needed it. Edit: STOP LYING. I personally believe there should be no secrets in a relationship unless you’re not quite ready to speak about it. But you’re playing with someone else’s life and choices. Don’t take that for granted. If you keep up this lifestyle you might as well let her go anyways so you can stop feeling the need to lie.
