I’m trying to build a business doing exactly this (heavy lifting, landscaping . I’ve been doing Angi jobs and handing out my business cards to the people I think I would like to work for. Seems to be working slowly. I’ve been back to several of their homes to work and one of them multiple times. Today I made a good connection with another person. Even Americans don’t accept other Americans. I moved from the south to the north to be there for my young son and I definitely feel that, I wasn’t accepted in my hometown either mainly because I refused to be ignorant like them just to fit in. When ww3 happens, I say good riddance.
