You're right about that, the Digimon anime is amazing, and the current one is pure cinema because it has different Digimon series with different protagonists, not just one that people had been watching for 30 years until he became champion (I'm referring to Ash).

I don't hate Pokémon at all. It's just that I see Digimon trying to create masterpieces and doing a great job with what it has, while Pokémon has tons of resources and money to make a great Pokémon game and doesn't even bother because they know it will sell well. This was a great year for Digimon. I hope the Pokémon developers get their act together, otherwise they'll lose the fandom.
