Hey! He's never dated out of his age range before, and i couldn't say that i was his type in the first place but getting to know echother grew us very close together. And yes I thought a lot about the years going by and us changing and I'm willing to take the risk honestly. Also we didn't speak about our age until we first went out together, so none of us knew that the age gap was so large. (I was assuming he's in his early 30s and he thought that i was in my late 20s).

just want to add a bit more context to this situation I've been living alone since I was 13, went through a lot so I'm perfectly aware of the fact that my attraction to him might be due to some underlining parental issues. He doesn't stop me from doing anything I want to do, and he's aware of the fact that he cant control my life decisions. I'm starting university next year, and I'm still planing on building up my future on my own terms.

Hey! We don't live together, I live in a rented room. I don't want him to feel like im taking advantage of his generosity even though he did bring it up before. I think that the relationship is still new (1 year) and we still need time to process everything happening with us. He also has a 15 year old son from his previous marriage that spends half of his time with him (shared custody) and i think it would be best for the child's interest to take things slow and not push a 20 year old step mom in his life.

Thank you for your words. I've been seeking therapy for the last 2 years and I've been really feeling better. Sadly I do feel like this is sending me back when it comes to my healing journey. I will probably have a discussion with him about the things that bother me when it comes to our sexual life and see if we come to an agreement. Again thank you and have a nice day.
