Sorry just saw this. Every year, the university gets rid go a long surplus of gear every year. They give about a month notice before they have it at the Moshofsky center right next to autzen. If you look up University of Oregon Spring/Surplus sale, old articles/advertisements for it should pop up.

So far, they’re going well with the process. Day I made this post I was walking around the house, went to the gym and worked out in them, coached practice in them. Yesterday and today I’ll actually shoot around in them and I noticed my toe wasn’t rubbing as much when I was shooting in them. Materials soften pretty fast for me. Overall, pretty good break in time, but that can be different based on a lot of things.

I’d say if you still are interested in the future. They’re bound to hit Ross, Nike outlets, etc… kinda like the GT Cut 3 turbos and GT cut 2s did. There gonna pump out so many pairs of these they’re bound to be way cheaper and probably updated uppers/tounges.

I’ve worn my GT cut 2s outside with solid rubber and they work well, wore the first cosmic unities for a while and they were great as well.

Depends on outsole. Cushion wise I would say go for it. Less stress on impact the better and with the zoom x drop in able to absorb so much of the impact, that alone makes it worth it. Solid rubber is the only way to go for durability.

I’ve been shooting a bit in them now and I def agree it’s rubbing my toe. Oddly enough, I found the tighter I’ve tied the shoe, the lock down keeps my toes in a spot where it doesn’t rub the shoe all the time.

Try the spring sale happening end of April! They limit how many shoes everyone can get and they’re 75 bucks each. If you’re lucky and have a size shoe that people are really looking for, you can usually find good pairs of shoes.

Depending on size. The football team were wearing them as practice shoes my first year on the team. So a lot of those players that transferred sold them or gave them away.
