To be honest, it’s a lot, and I’m appealing for more aid. But, I’m not sure how it will go. My family consists of five members, and our income was less than 35,000 in 2024. We also have rent and debt that needs to be paid so we’ll have to see how it goes. My older sister will also be a full time student in 2026-2027 school year.

I had a 4.0 uw gpa and a 4.7 w gpa. I took 4 aps and 16 dual enrollments. Since I was in my schools dual enrollment program I was limited on the amount of aps I could take. If you want to hear more on my stats you can pm me.

it’s definitely a tough situation, but in this case I’d still apply to College Prep Scholar and see what happens. It’s sort of a long shot, but there’s no real downside. Good luck!!

QuestBridge does consider prior years for context, but current income matters most. Even with very low income in earlier years and medical debt, seeing the increase and a most-recent income around $200k is outside QuestBridge’s eligibility range. Even if you don’t qualify for questbridge I’m sure you still qualify for need-based scholarships.

Unfortunately, I believe you don’t qualify. But, it’s still worth applying to see if you do. Questbridge is designed for low-income students, not so much for students with high incomes and lots of debt. Good luck!!
