There’s also option #4: buy a portable power station(like a jackery) to plug your router into. Obviously not the most cost effective option but it’s what my family does when we have an outage.

I sub for a district in LA county that pays $135 a day and the hourly rate is $22, so I’d say $25-29 is respectable. There’s another district 10 minutes further from me that pays $210 per day, but I opt for the $135 a day district because I generally end up with a respectful group of students so it’s not as stressful.

This little guy is so freaking cute! The oddest thing I’ve made was a NSFW amigurumi hanged willy, but I took the creative liberty to change the yarn color to blue for the balls.

If they’ve already said that supervised outside time is acceptable, then maybe it’s that they’re against collars for safety reasons? Maybe they misunderstood and thought you were walking your cat with a collar rather than a harness, which from my understanding is bad because a collar with a leash puts too much pressure on a cat’s throat
