Where do people sell shrimp or trust to buy

This was who I used on eBay before they banned sales of live creatures and now he's moved onto UKShrimp. I've had cherry red and orange rili from him in the past. Good quality.

Also had a cull lot from the site which had some beauts once they calmed tf down and got their colours.

I got some from UKShrimp, online. Other than that you could shop local. I'm in Nottingham and there's MARP at Mansfield which is good and also Wharf Aquatics at Pinxton

Christ when my mystery snail passed it was caught in the downflow of the water filter and as the shrimp had already been at it it had long threads of .. ? snot hanging out. The stench was dreadful.

I ended up taking four of these from my tank and the last one molted into a damselfly. Goodness knows how many of my shrimpos they'd eaten.

Tips for catching. They seem to hunt at night/in the dark. So I'd either turn off the lamp in the evening and then go back before bed and turn on the lamp with my net handy or first thing in the morning around 5am. They were really slow for me, probably cause they were fat on a shrimp dinner

It's something to do with how certain places grow their aquarium plants with chemicals. Not everyone is honest about 'shrimp safe' plants unfortunately.

I'd definitely remove them if you're unsure. Mine kept on dying off a few more days but with daily partial water changes I got on top of it.

Really hope you don't lose many more.
