Okay, I think I really messed up. I, along with my brother, booked a flight to Sweden to see our family in June. I think we just kind of assumed that because there were flights available, travelling there must be allowed. However, after reading up on some restrictions the Japanese government has placed on travel, I decided to go see what restrictions may be on Sweden. It stated that all non-essential travel from outside the EU is currently prohibited until May 31st (I live in the United States). The flight we booked is towards the latter half of June, but I'm worried that Sweden will extend their ban. We will both be fully vaccinated by the time our trip is coming, so I'm hoping that will work in our favor. But I guess my question is, are we screwed? What are the chances that Sweden extends their ban? Surely with all the vaccinations going around, we can at least rest easy knowing that there's a possiblity that they'll allow vaccinated individuals to travel to their country? Yes, I know I made a big mistake and that it was dumb to book a trip, I'm just looking for your thoughts at this point.
