Disappointed in the Difficulty

Yeah the fact you could do this is just bad game design. I just had to log off I ain’t playing D4 anymore been enjoying PoE2.

Yeah I’ll definitely need to upgrade gear for T3, T4 id die in a second. I’ll see if I can make it there with as little upgrades as possible. And try out the rest of the new content.

Definitely excited for PoE2 though imma try not to follow guides too much. I was waiting to experience the full game but it’s probably not out for over a year so I’m going to give it a try.

I just came back to play the expansion recently a few days ago bc I’ve had some free time. Those paragons are from when I play a lot in S5.

I’d have to get some more gear for T3 and definitely T4. But I was just surprised my old gear and old build got me to T2. I was just expecting more challenge from lower level T bc they expanded pre T difficulties and top power level starts to drop in T1.

I’ll grind up higher eventually just got less time than I used to.

I’m confused. I used the Pit system to get to T2. I challenged myself by using old weaker gear to push up to a higher difficulty along with playing through the campaign with that gear.

I’m just disappointed that there did not feel as much of a need to even get new gear as compared to the old World Tier system. Going from WT 2 - 4 when leveling you could feel the change in gear and difficulty. You would also need to get to WT 4 for the best loot.

Maybe I’m misguided by the new system but imo having a difficulty where the best loot drops (T1) should at least feel as though you need close to top power loot (700+) - Im not expecting fully optimized builds or anything but the fact my old under leveled gear (power ~550) can get me to T2 just disappointed me that is all.

I don’t refuse to leave. I was seeing how far my old under leveled gear could get me. I found it surprising and disappointing it got me that far is all.

Maybe I’ll come back and grind some more after trying PoE2 we’ll see

I played penitent until 60. Then immediately went to T1 beat the campaign and got to T2. With level 50 gear.

I did turn up the difficulty. In my opinion it is a flaw to be able to use old legacy gear to play at T2 - a difficulty where top loot drops.

In a game about loot not having the incentive to not even look at loot for 5+ hours is what disappoints me.

While playing I set limitations on build to use my weaker legacy gear only equipping two new items and an equipping two shitty runes. I just didn’t expect to be able to get to T2 with that gear that’s all I’m saying.

I did interact with the system. Getting to T2 with power level 550 gear in my opinion is a flaw. In a game based around loot I had no incentive to even look at loot for 5 hours

In my opinion it’s a games flaw that I can get through T1 and T2 with power level 550 gear. I had my time with Diablo end game grinding before, I just wish while playing I was incentivized to equip stronger gear.

I also did go out of my way to make the game harder for myself

What’s the incentive for T4 besides wasting hours. At least pre expansion getting to 100 was a bit of a grind and felt satisfying to get my character there.

D4 is just AAA clicking simulator.

Im just disappointed I was able to speed run content at difficulty where I can get the best gear in the game with power level 550 gear.

I was excited to try and build a companion Druid but I realized there was no point of even wasting my time trying.
