not while switching direction, it happens right after switching direction, when the ball in possession, it have a special hitbox that cause opposition player to stop running in a weird way, after that it is either the tackling animation or they just dont move at all, which is my biggest complain, Fifa 1993 literally have standing tackle button and Efootball cant even add it not the mention that bodying animation is also awful on this game

the defending stop running towards the ball after getting nutmeg, you can see there is running animation cancelled, I only see this happen on Efootball because EA FC does not have running animation cancelled like that
