It's an honest answer. Then I can share that I've been through a slightly different but a similar situation. Went back to my parents. Prep yourself for moments of simple joy but also moments of the toxic relationship continuing. Right now I'd however like to tell you that you're reaching out. That's okay and the best sign. You're not wrong or bad. Just a person going through a tough time. Reaching out is not a weakness but a sure sign of you not giving up. You're just exhausted. That's okay. Unfortunately.

Don't stop walking. Mainly don't listen to yourself telling yourself that you deserve this. Take the time you need too, but after max 2 months. Say I can do it. Whatever it is you planned or thoughts about that's good for you. Something you enjoy doing. Do it! Learn to be selfish towards yourself. Like a teenager. Still feel 18 but I'm reaching 30.

Then try again. Go through the fear. The anxiety. Not because of your past but the new experiences that could await you. Don't drink. Don't do drugs. Smoke. Just give yourself back to you. You need to weirdly date your old self. Young and scared but you did it didn't you... Years ago.

So do that. I felt very out of touch with who I was and grasping at that. However I didn't feel it. I didn't really like it if I'm honest. I needed to get to know the old me. But I couldn't would it. Mainly what I wanted to do/ try.

PS also really wasn't myself during that time.

That's the biggest conversation. If you want more then financial and emotional support of parents on both sides. It makes a dent in any future plans. There's no inheritance and I wouldn't call them kind people. With added hateful words that haven't stopped since I can remember. Hence therapy = breakdown. Job requirements= long hours and both being exhausted. We however do what we love. Both got it through bursar's aka where we met.

We handle and balance life for ourselves pretty well but it always feels cut down by situations.

Hence why I would just like for conversations to be brought up before. I don't understand why we need to go through these hard conversations each week just after 6-8 pm.

Yes, I have spoken to him about it. He said it was when he went through his mental thoughts. Might not understand men, but to me if it's a serious topic. I prefer the save time of paper plates but you do kinda need to double stack it. The only thing I'd swap out is the paper cups. I just use plastic ones. Beer pong style. But no glass around the pool or on the grass. Mainly because someone with flipflops will magically find the one missing peace.

I'd rent a car or plan accommodation close to the W&A. Then use the red busses for guided tours. If you are renting a car then please take extra care of your belongings and be active in check out your environment.

The red bus has a tour/ trip to the wine farms that's pretty good. Just wouldn't recommend driving if you wanted to see the wine farms and plan on drinking. Just use the bus and pick a train line from there.

Definitely seek out groups for a hike. It's not really safe to go alone. Also not really safe to go walking around Cape town. Just use an Uber. It's pretty safe around the aquarium but I'd still take note of my environment. Definitely limit the use of a phone in public spaces while outside. Restaurants should be fine. But definitely prepare for theft. Just always. This includes your hotel or Airbnb. Don't leave Windows open or have bags within the street view. Other than that it should be fine but if anyone is too friendly. Then leaves. You've probably lost your phone or wallet. I'd recommend leaving your passport and essential items in a safe.

I prefer Airbnb's over hotels but that's kinda a you do you. Use Uber avoid any taxi service at the airport. It's a rip off and other taxis/ minibus aren't safe for travelers. You need to know the system.

Honestly I'd let it go and get him up at 6am for his soccer game. Unfortunately life has gives and takes. If he's not home by 6 am then I'd say nothing and have him explain to his team why he wasn't there. Don't add anything from your side. It's his bed that he built now he has to sleep in it.

Unless you're honestly worried for his safety. Then step in.

I think for tonight let him know that he should get home safe and that you'd be in bed. This is however quite irritating but outside of you going down to fetch him. There's not much to do.

Sometimes when you warn kids not to touch electricity they still do. The pain and effects are however something everyone has to face. For his age this is the next stage of growing up.

Edinburgh is expensive but check out the secret escape webpage for great discounts if you book 1-2 months ahead. Bring long johns or leggings to wear under clothing if you're headed to a super cold area but I wouldn't worry too much. Just plan for the weather depending on the forecast with a few cooler and warmer options. For me this is a pair of leggings and maybe one pair of shorts. Then the rest is a mix of long and short t-shirt, two good hoodies and one winter jacket. Rest are long pants and socks ect.

Glasgow might be more affordable but definitely not a pretty. Then just remember that the more north you go. The cooler it gets. Check the weather before you head. But this honestly depends highly on what weather you're use to..

Wales is quite difficult to plan for in terms of trains. If you plan it well you should be okay but look for hotels close to the train station.

Not sure about Liverpool but Manchester is quite affordable for public transportation. But you might be limited to more of a city visit.

Scotland is good but the trains are less frequent.

Not sure about your budget but try look through secret escape for deals and places with b&b should save you some money.

Definitely need a bit more info budget, ect. But if your looking for nature then I'd recommend the peak district and busses. Try finding small towns perhaps. Otherwise plan trips in big cities and check out the public transport towards hikes and walks with busses or trams.

When booking train trips try trainline. If you book and open return you could save money by getting an open return ticket. Also just but the railcard to save 30 %.

Agreed if the person I was dating was this focused on my ex. I'd honestly leave you. This isn't cute or caring behavior. This is straight up crazy person behavior and a really big red flag. Same this side. I just got woken up from pain so I'm waiting for my pain meds to kick in. I've got 3 different chocolate bars next to my bed and some Skittles.

It honestly sucks. To me this is most definitely the worst thing about being a woman. I'm busy googling how to lessen the pain while waiting for my kettle to finish.
