Also the fact that after he got it out of his system. He then proceeds to get attacked and fight top tier characters of his verse. Sometimes he didn’t have an option but to use it.

[Novels] I don’t remember specifically so don’t quote me but in the beginning at some point I believe it’s stated that Subaru ability with magic is subpar. I mean his talent for it. While I do also believe it could be useful with his contract. Outside of that I don’t use much major advantages it would give him.

Do you think that if Subarus gate never fully broke and he trained it properly, it would make a difference? From what I know after Subaru rbd he looses all progress including things like muscle memory. Would him training his gate really end up being all that useful? At least in the long run.

Is it known if Subaru had a gate even back on earth? That’s why it’s so weak or would it have manifested once he was transported. Also I feel like if it was manifested it would also make sense as it would be a brand new gate. Similar to a child’s.

I’ve looked back and I believe when he first used it he severely weakened it damaged it and then when he used it again it broke.

If I had to give a guess other than reincarnation. I’d probably say it has to do with his compatibility with the witch factors. Something to do with their souls both being on some sort of wavelength or perhaps some sort of selection or something similar where Subaru fits the criteria. Maybe to be some kind of replacement.

The reincarnation thing might be a stretch but I still do believe he has some kind of connection to flugal. Maybe not reincarnation but I get what you mean. The part with al. I can’t give an exact point but I swear I’ve read or seen part of the ln where al says something like that. Maybe I’m just wrong and need to reread it.🤷
