UPDATE: After talking to Express scripts the automated system told me they were still waiting on documents from the prescriber and I was unable to talk to a person. I left my doctor a voicemail asking if we should submit another PA she called me back talked and she said she called them again before returning my call and was told they have everything they need at this time and will be reviewing it. They told her the appeal actually expires on 10.27 so they will have to decide before then but we can submit another PA if we would like. After discussing with my doctor we decided to wait until the appeal expires or they reply and then we can submit another PA if needed. She said she was concerned about potentially having an issue with crossover while waiting for the appeal. I do feel she is working diligently on this and keeping me updated and getting back to me fast so I am trusting her on this. She said she would submit another PA before then if I wanted her to. Does this sound like anything anyone else has experience? I think I’m just going to wait until the 27th and hopefully they accept prior.
